Patricia Eve Bikini Review & Giveaway!

I have had my blog for about two years now, and I can truly say its been an amazing journey, talking to some amazing bloggers, followers and companies. And today is another milestone in my blogging journey, as today marks the day of my first ever blog giveaway!

I will be doing more giveaways this year, so follow me to keep updated with those!

The brand of this bikini is called David Swimwear and they do luxurious swimwear suitable for anyone who loves a good splash in the pool, a peaceful holiday away or just a lay on the beach to top up your tan! 

 

 

 

 

I fell in love with this two piece as soon as I opened the package up, the blue and white colours are very striking, with hints of gold dots in some areas. The bow in the middle of the bikini top adds some detail but not to much to overpower the main pattern, very pretty!

The size of this bikini is a size 12, there is no official cup size, however I would say it would fit anyone from a cup size C - D, and the pants, a size 10 - 12.

This marvellous bikini has extra padding in the bikini top (which is removable), which helps if the top is a little bit on the big side, it will fill the cup out more and also give you an enhanced cleavage (Yay).

 

 

The material of this bikini feels great and I can defiantly tell that this bikini was made with comfort in mind.

The gold fastening for the bikini top compliments the gold dots that appear on the two piece and is a lot more appealing than a plain, plastic hook fasten. The straps are adjustable, which is always a must for me when shopping for anything from bikini's to bras.

 

I was debating whether to keep this bikini for myself, as it is sooo beautiful and just my sort of style, however, I do not go abroad and cannot swim very well, therefore, I thought it would make more sense to give it over to someone who would get more use of it, as its to pretty to sit in my wardrobe gathering dust! I know its also a bit early to be giving away something that is more likely to be worn during summertime but I couldn't wait any longer, plus if anyone has a holiday coming up, this bikini would be perfect for your suitcase!

How to win online competitions!

Hi there, I wasn't suppose to do another blog for today but I really wanted to do this post as I feel it may help a lot of people..

 

Anyone who knows me well enough will know I am absolutely addicted to entering online competitions and I give up so much of my time entering them! A lot of people ask me 'How do you win so many competitions'? Well today I am going to share with you my top tips, so that you can start comping to! It is literally the best hobby I've ever had and in under two years I have won over £9000 worth of winnings. So if you want to join in with my craze then please read my tips and start entering! Before I start please note that this is a hobby of mine, im not in it to be greedy, if you are a competition addict like me you will realise that everyone enters as many competitions as they like and whoever wins, we all congratulate and move onto the next, if you think any different then please do not read any further. Thank you.

• Give up your spare time - If you don't give up your spare time to enter competitions, you will not win, its that simple! I spend up to 6 hours a day (at the most) entering competitions and that's why I am so successful with it. If you enter one competition a week your chances are pretty slim. I know majority of you will want to be out having fun but for me I enjoy what I do and to me this is my fun. Once you win something you will realise it is worth it. Even if you only spend 1 hour a day entering them, you have much more of a chance of winning. Don't be afraid to enter as many as you like!

• Social media is your best friend - Get a Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest Etc. Social media accounts will always be willing to give back to there followers with awesome competitions! My favourite social media site is Twitter, they advertise competitions everyday and they are simple to enter. If I ever win a competition via a social media site then I always like to give back and send them a picture of my prize and say a big thank you, its just manors.

• Read the rules - I see so many people who just assume that because its a Facebook competition you just like and share the picture, no! You must read the rules of each individual giveaway, you will most likely be disqualified from the competition or not noticed if you do not follow each step. Its happened to me before and I wont let it happen again! I once entered a competition for a pair of hair straighteners, I was notified by email that I won and it was only open to the USA, therefore I got my hopes up!

• The harder the entry, the more chances of winning - If there is a competition where you have to fill out a form, upload a picture, do a drawing, write an article, DO IT! Less people enter the more complicated competitions where there is more to do than just follow and like a photo. So many people, even myself love competitions where you don't have to do much to enter, but if there is a competition such as upload a photo of your nail art, then there will be people who cant be bothered with the big competitions and wont enter. Also another advantage is that if there is for example a photography competition they will judge based on what they like the look of and not just a random draw, therefore you have chance to impress!

• FREEBIE FRIDAY - Twitter and Facebook is the place to be on Friday's! Companies will post competitions every Friday as its called Freebie Friday, this is the day you want to enter competitions, I enter everyday but Friday is when I try to enter the most. If you didn't win anything one Friday then come back the next and the same companies will be there hosting more comps!

• Always check your notifications - Whatever accounts you have linked to your competitions, you must check at least once a day, even your emails if necessary. Some companies will only give you a certain amount of time to claim your prize or reply (such as 24 hours), or they will pick another winner. I was involved in an incident like this before, I was scrolling down my Facebook news feed and I came across a status from a company which said that due to the previous winner not contacting them they had to choose another winner, and it was me! So it was an advantage for me but I felt guilty that the other person obviously didn't check there notifications, and the prize was huge! It was a £150 online voucher for Dune and I got myself a new college back, two pairs of shoes and a purse for my mum! So with this experience I saw what the previous winner had missed out on just because they weren't online that day.

• Be fair - This isn't essential but for me it is, if I win something from a company, I don't enter there competitions again because I like to give other people a chance of winning. If you do enter a competition from a company you have already won from, they may not choose you again, so to me its pretty pointless!

Nails Inc. London | Autumn Winter Collection

Hey Errrrrrrrrrr body!

I am very excited to share with you a prize I won in a giveaway on twitter with BeautyBay.com. They were holding a giveaway for 20 lucky winners to receive the Autumn Winter Collection from Nails Inc. This collection involved four nail polishes in dark winter colours.

 

So how did I enter?

I had to paint my nails however I wanted then take a picture with the hashtag #ShowUsYourNails and then send the picture to Beauty Bay's twitter. I thought nothing of it as there were so many amazing nail designs from other entries I seriously thought there was no chance in my winning BUT I DID! But my 12 year old sister actually did my nails for me so she was very proud that we won!

St Martin Lane (The vibrant purple colour)

Old Bond Street (The blue colour)

Regent Street (The darkest purple)

O.P.I Royals Collection Review

 

Hi girlies, Today I have an O.P.I nail polish review for you all. So when baby George was/Prince George was born there was a competition on twitter with Marie Claire magazine. There were sets of the O.P.I Royal collection nail polishes to give away, to enter you had to guess what the name of Kate and Wills baby would be before they announced it and thanks to my mums lucky guess I was one of the winners! I won these last year so I've had them a while but I love every one of them there such good quality, the only thing I hate about O.P.I is that the nail brush is so wide and its hard to paint your nails without going the polish going onto your skin. Anyways enough of that let me tell you what the names are incase you want to check them out as im pretty sure you can buy them seperatly.

 

The first nail polish (silver) is called BIRTHDAY BABE, I dont think this set is an official set, I feel they have just got the royal colours and put them together which I dont mind. I love this colour, its nothing special but its a colour that will go with pretty much anything.

 

The second nail polish (gold) is called GLITZERLAND which is a really glittery polish and you only need up to two coats if not just one.

 

The third nail polish (white) is called ALPINE SNOW. This is my favorite colour out of the set, the down side to this colour is that for me I have to do atleast three layers to get an even colour.

 

The forth nail polish (red) is called GOT THE BLUES FOR RED, this colour is so dark but in a good way, its a very nice red which is nothing like any other red polish I own. Its such a good polish if you wanted to spend a bit of money on a decent polish that will last and be of a good quality.

 

The last nail polish (blue) is called DATING A ROYAL. Its a very dark blue but so pretty, Its not my favorite colour as I dont tend to wear blue polish a lot but im getting use to it. Ive not used this one much but it is a really good quality polish for if you like blue.

 

I love all O.P.I nail polishes and I can't wait to try more out, im thankful that the people of Marie Claire gave me the chance to try these colours out and the brand for the first time. Im very impressed with the quality of them and the bottles are pretty big so you will get your moneys worth out of them.

Ide deffiantly recommend this brand to anyone!
