MyChelle Revitalizing Night Cream | Review

Ever suffered with dry skin and constant break outs? Then join me as I talk about a product which might just become your best friend!

I have recently discovered a product from the brand MyChelle and I have been trying out there Revitalizing Night Cream for age defense, now obviously I don't need this product for age defense, I am only 19, no wrinkles have appeared yet (that I have noticed - hehe)! This cream helps me in the way that it restores radiance and firmness, as well as increasing hydration - all these are great in order to help my dry skin disappear or fade. The packaging describes that this cream should work within 4 weeks, I haven't been trying this product for 4 weeks but I already can tell it is a very good, high quality product.

I use this cream every night before bed, after cleansing my face, you do not have to wash this off which is great as its such a hassle having to wash face products off when your so tired and just want to hop into bed! This product is applied to the face and neck, a tiny amount goes a long way and it smells lovely. The product isn't to thick, I don't want to be going to sleep feeling like I have a face mask on, so this product is great for giving a light weight feel once applied. The one thing I really love about this product is that it doesn't dry as soon as you apply it to your skin, making it very blend able and kind to dry skin. I wash my face every morning to get rid of any product from the night before and my skin is left feeling smooth and looking more lively.

As well as this product being awesome, it is also cruelty-free, vegan friendly & gluten free. I am a big supporter of the cruelty-free/no testing on animals community so when I found the cruelty free bunny on the packaging I was very happy.

This product is worth giving a go for anyone who feels like they need to add a hint of freshness to there skin. After being so impressed with this product, I am very curious to see what other products they have to offer, therefore will be checking out there website some more.

I hope you liked this post or that it came in handy.
I hope everyone has a great day, oh and its apparently 'calm day' today, so everyone get some of this cream, have a pamper night and stay calm!

Nourish Starter Kit | Combination

Hi there, today I have a review for you all on a brand which I am pretty new to called Nourish, they are a skincare brand which specialise in products dedicated to a variety of skin types which you can choose from, I went for combination skin as I have oily skin at times but in cold weather it can be dry on areas such as my cheeks, nose and forehead. One thing that stood out to me with this brand is that they are a vegan brand, I am a vegetarian and love to support cruelty free/ vegan brands.
As I got the combination skin type kit the fragrance for this was apple, I was so happy to discover this due to me being such a big fan of fruity scents, after trying this out for the first time the fragrance was almost good enough to want to eat, although I wouldn't recommend it!

Here is some of information about the combination skin kit I have been trying out:
  • The organic apple extract, vitamins and minerals in the balance range help regulate the production of sebum which is an oily substance secreted by the sebaceous glands in mammalian skin.
  • The balance nutritious peptide serum has been clinically shown to give an 80% increase in skin hydration instantly! WOW.
Onto the individual products, here are my thoughts:

Detoxifying Cleanser

This is the first product you use as you are suppose to use them in order as instructed on the label of each bottle. This cleanser is splendid, you apply it with a cotton wool pad by gently sweeping the  pad over your face and then washing off after with cool water. One thing I must point out is that the pump on this bottle is very stiff, the pump goes down very quickly and its been a few times that the product has flown across the room instead of onto the pad so you need to hold the pump close to the cotton wool pad, its nothing to big of a deal and I don't know if it was just the bottle I had but I do expect the pump to work well as all the others did. As for the actual cleanser itself the fragrance is insane, I love the smell of it when on my face and it leaves a smooth finish. I would give this product a rating of 6/10.

Refining Toning Mist

Out of all the products this would be the product I would mostly recommend. I use this on a daily basis as a way of refreshing my face in a morning. This toning mist is said to 'leave skin refreshed' and it does just that! You apply the toning mist twice a day and then apply one of the two products below to moisturise the skin, however I feel that you could use this product on its own for example on a hot day if the weather is making your skin feel oily, this would refresh your skin for the day! I don't have a bad thing to say about this product.

Essential Moisturiser

I am really fond of this product due to its lightness when applied to my face, previous moisturisers I've tested out have been to thick or sticky, making my skin feel disgusting! This moisturiser however is a completely different story, feeling light on my skin and giving a refreshed finish. You only need 1-2 pea sized amounts to cover the whole face, a little goes a long way! I only have a mini travel sized pot of this moisturiser but I know it will last me a long time as I only need a small amount per day. I would defiantly recommend this moisturiser to anyone with dry skin like me as it has done my skin wonders and I've only been testing it out for two weeks so I will keep using it until its all gone and hopefully it will do some good for my skin!

Nutritious Peptide Serum

Last but defiantly not least is the Nutritious Peptide Serum, as this is a serum the texture is different to the moisturiser and although I am impressed with the moisturiser, I prefer the way the serum feels on my face plus it is easier to blend in. Very impressive product and you will get a lot of use out of this mini serum.
80% Organic

I was very impressed with this mini skin kit and would recommend it to anyone! If you have 'combination skin' (which to me is oily skin in summer and dry skin in winter) then give this kit a go! Or you could try the full sized products which I am sure to do when I have used up my Mini's!

I hope you enjoyed this post.
Thank you for reading :-)

Arbonne FC5 Skin Care Range

Hello everyone! Well.. This week hasn't been great as i've been suffering with a virus which has made me very lifeless, but thankyou to a lovely man over at arbonne I was sent some lovely samples which kept me busy!

So your all wondering, what is ARBONNE?
Arbonne is an online company which sells a variety of products from makeup, hair care and body care to protein shakes and vitamin supplements. Each item is beneficial in some way, as I have had to experience to get to know.
Arbonne kind of reminds me of another simular brand called Avon in the sense that you order a brocure from a consultant and can order through them, however if I were to compare the two I would much rather go for Arbonne due to the high recommendations and quality of products (Sorry Avon).

So enough of me blabbering and lets move onto the samples I received. Firstly though I would like to introduce the man who sent me these samples and told me more about arbonne..
His name is Eian Crockatt and he is a idependant conslutant for Arbonne, if you are interested in ordering or recieving your free samples and a brocure then please visit his website. You can also email him or tweet him @eiancrockatt. If you do wish to purchase any of these products please use Eian's ID CODE: #440008686
Dont be shy hes such a lovely man to talk to :)

So the three samples I recieved are below, these are three products from the FC5 Skin Care range for Normal/Dry skin types.

Hydrating cleanser + freshener - £20 for a 118ml tube. This product I didn't use as much as the others as I used this one on a weekend and the other two during weekdays in the morning and at night, however I love this product. I used this is the morning and it made my face feel so fresh, the one thing I adore about these products is the smell! Theres nothing more disapointing than recieving and item and thinking 'wow this looks ace' and then the smell be hidious, this specific product is infact fresh strawberry scent with cell extracts. DIVINE!

Nuturing Day Lotion with SPF 20 - £32 for a 50ml tube. This has to be my favorite product out of the three, due to me being in sixth form at the moment I do a lot of work and stress gets to me and im running around the school trying to find teachers and at the end of the day I just feel sweaty and grose. This day lotion works miracles for my skin as it lasts the whole day leaving your skin looking flawless whilst you feel fresh all day long! This one has the scent of kiwi (with cell extras also). I feel this product would be most beneficial in the summer as it includes SPF 20 in which should prevent you from sunburn.

Moisturising Night Creme - £43 for a 50ml round tub. I have never really used night creams as I never saw the need to and thought they were a waste of money, however this product proved me to be wrong! I admireeeeee the smell of this as it is mango and im really into those fruity smells so whilst I was in bed I had a nice scent to drift to sleep with making me feel calm and fresh.

TIPS FOR THESE PRODUCTS:
1. A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY
2. CLEAN YOUR FACE BEFORE HAND TO CREATE A BLANK CANVAS
3. BLEND IN WELL!
4. SET A ROUTINE SO YOU KNOW WHEN TO APPLY THESE PRODUCTS EACH DAY

I would HIGHLY recommend these products to anyone, I got products sent to me which suited my skin type which is normal/dry and they surely helped prevent dry skin. Arbonne products are on the pricey side but worth the money.

And the best thing about this brand is....
VEGAN AND NOT TESTED ON ANIMALS WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

Thankyou Eian and the rest of the crew at Arbonne for letting me sample your products and I hope to work with you again in the future.
