Bleach London | Sea Punk

Good morning everyone, I am here today to talk about a product I have been trying out and I am instantly in love with, its the Bleach London wash out hair colours.
Boots have done a Bleach London gift set section, both in store and online, where you can purchase gift sets including Bleach London's very own hair colorants, I was lucky enough to win a hamper full of there new Christmas gift sets on twitter from a company called Living North, I was soooooooooooo excited to find out I had won.

(There were more prizes included in the hamper, including the Bleach London bauble sets, snow globe and jelly purse)

I couldn't wait to try out a colour for the first time, I only have blonde ombre ends and the rest of my hair is brown, therefore I knew I couldn't achieve a bright colour without bleaching all my hair, which I wasn't brave enough to do, so for the meantime I just did the ends of my hair to see how it went.
I would love love love to bleach all my hair a silver/white colour, however the only problem is keeping up with roots and affording to pay money every couple of weeks for a bleaching kit, which without a job, isn't the most sensible thing to do.

My blonde ombre isn't very bright, as in a white tone, its more of a honey sort of blonde, therefore I didn't get the results I was hoping for, however the colour was bright enough to be noticed. I also found that once I dried my hair after using this product, that I had missed quite a lot of my hair, therefore next time I will use more product and take more time to ensure I am covering every section I need to cover, which may create the vibrant look I was going for.

I tested the colour 'Sea Punk' which is a mouldy looking green, that is the only way I can describe this colour, and I know im probably not selling the product well but it seriously is a lovely colour to have, and very different to.

The reason I went for Sea Punk is because its nearly Christmas and I wanted to create a Christmas look to my hair, and what better colour to use than Christmas tree green.

I would suggest to only use Bleach London colours if you are prepared to get comments and weird looks of strangers or even people you know, I have had this colour in my hair two days and have already had the following comments off little girls: 'daddy, look at that girls hair, its green' and 'there's that girl again with the green hair' (said whilst running away). Also my grandparents are not a fan of the green, however, I like this colour and if I like it then im okay with the weird comments because im doing it for me and no one else.

Anyway, enough chit chat, lets get to the results..

Unfortunately the colour has not shown very well through the camera, and looks a lot more brighter in person, however I took a few picture from my iPad and they turned out tad bit brighter, here they are...

The final results turned out great and I was so excited to show my hair off to the world, I thought I would have been nervous to try such an adventurous colour, when actually I was more excited than nervous.

The best thing about this product is that it lasts from 2-10 washes, therefore you can try out many colour and not have to worry about it staining. This product smells soooooooooo nice, and nothing like the minging hair dye smell you would normally get. With this colourant you shampoo your hair and then towel dry, then apply the product like you would with a conditioner (but wearing gloves) and leave for 15 minutes before rinsing like normal. Another great advantage of this products is the fact that it leaves your hair shiny instead of dry and frizzy, making it easier to dry and style after.

Altogether I would rate this product a 10/10 and cannot wait to try out more crazy colours from the bunch of goodies I have left!

Thank you for reading, have a brilliant Christmas.

Jerome Russell Bblonde Maximum Ombre Kit No.1 Review

Hi there, today I have a new post for you which is a bit different to my normal reviews, I am testing out a hair colourant product, which yes is risky but I love a good challenge so bring it on !

The company I will be talking about is called 'Bblonde', which is a brand that focuses on hair colourants for blondes (or blondes to be). The creator of this brand is Jerome Russell, and all of the products are created by him, with the customers in mind.

The product which I tested out was the Maximum Ombre Kit No.1, I'm not normally a fan of DIY ombre kits as there is a huge risk of it going wrong easily, but as I have already used this brand a few times before, I trusted them to deliverer me great results.
Three years ago I used a bleaching kit from Bblonde and went from a vibrant but dark red, to honey blonde and with people telling me it wouldn't work, I proved them wrong and the results were great. I completely trust this brand even more now that I have tried there Ombre kit as I had brilliant results which I will show you very soon.

Seven months ago I coloured my hair from my natural light brown to a more darker brown, and as lovely as my hair looked, the brown was getting a little bit to boring for me who likes bright and funky hair. I was then contacted by the Bblonde company and they said I could give there Ombre kit a go, which was great timing ! I have had so many hair colours since being a teenager that my fear of it failing gets smaller every time and I enjoy experimenting with my hair !

I received a package a few days ago and was mega excited to discover that it was my Ombre kit. I was expecting the kit to have quite difficult instructions to follow, but they were so straight forward that I just went for it !

[Can I just point out how pretty the packaging is]

Picture above: This is what was included inside the box, it looked pretty similar to the products I used three years ago, so I felt a bit more relieved that I may actually know what I'm doing !

With a bit of help from my teenage sister, who helped me with the back of my hair, we applied the product onto the ends of my hair, working from the back to the front (following the instructions). Development time took a while, as it is completely up to you when you want the colourant out, as it depends on what shade of blonde you want to achieve, for example; the more you leave it, the lighter it will go and the less amount of time you leave it, the more natural/darker it will look. I wanted to achieve the exact same colour as seen on the box (honey blonde) therefore I left it as long as I could and rinsed it off after about 40 minutes, hoping that the colour would be what I desired.
Sure enough I achieved the colour I wanted and was more than impressed with the finished results. My hair now has a lovely blonde shine to it and looks ten times better than my previous boring brown hair.

The only negative thing I would say about this product (I like to be as honest as I possibly can be) is that the blending lotion seemed to work on one side of my head but not the other, bearing in mind that this was most likely my fault for not applying the blending lotion well enough, I will now know what to be more careful with in the future if I was to use this product again. For anyone who is unsure of what the blending lotion does, it helps the Ombre effect look more gradual, rather than having a straight line of blonde, making it look more natural.
Apart from that I am thrilled with the final look, and here are the results..

I feel a lot more confident with my hair now and cant wait to show it off !
Thank you to everyone at Bblonde who gave me the advice and help I needed in order to achieve a beautiful finish ! I would be open to trying out any other product of there's in the future and this experiment has made me so much more desperate to go fully blonde, but for the time being I will be rocking my Ombre hair !

Thank you for reading.

How I got blonde ombre hair!

Good afternoon girls, I am very glad to announce that I am getting better after being ill for three weeks however I'm still not 100% myself so I have turned to my blog to cheer me up!

Today's topic will be on my hair..
A lot of people whether its online or in person ask me how I got my hair the way it is now which is like this..

And the simple answer is nothing. If I were to ask anyone what style my hair is colour wise they would say ombre, which is correct to an extent.
Two years ago I bleached my hair from bright red to blonde and trust me when I say I would not recommend bleaching your hair and then going over it with a blonde dye straight after as it WILL make your hair so dry and unhealthy. Luckily enough for me the blonde turned out fine but after a while I got bored of it and I decided to grow it out, which is where the ombre part comes in. I have been growing my blonde out for over two years now and at first it looked a hot mess but now its grown out so much it just looks like I have added the blonde ombre effect to the bottom. So when people ask me who did your hair this is what I have to explain. So do you have blonde hair your bored of? Then give this a go, I did not grow my hair out with the intention of it looking ombre but it just seemed to work with me (AND I DIDN'T PAY A PENNY TO GET THIS LOOK).

I will continue to let it grow as I will be sad to see my blonde be cut off but once my hair is long enough I will be saying goodbye to the blonde so for the meantime I am embarrassing it.

Has anyone else had this experience, If so let me know.
Thanks for reading and happy hair day!
