Fragrance Direct Haul

Happy Sunday everyone!

Today I have a haul for you, from an online store called Fragrance Direct, which I'm sure a lot of people have heard of before.
I had heard of Fragrance Direct previously but never decided to check out there website until now, and I was so surprised at how low prices were! Fragrance Direct to me, sounded expensive and I didn't even know they did makeup until I came across there twitter account. Basically.. Fragrance Direct sell high quality makeup, skin care, hair care, body care and of course fragrances, but at unbelievable prices, that are affordable for everyone!

I had to pick up a few bargains myself and I was very happy to find when I went to checkout that my order had only come to an impressive £18.99 including shipping at only £1.99 (5-7 days), now that's awesome!

I purchased a lot of lip products as well as two Nip and Fab goodies, which included the Nip and Fab CC Face Cream (£3.99) and CC Eye Fix Cream (£3.50). I am in LOVE with the CC Face Cream as it is tinted, therefore can be used as a foundation, it also gives a medium coverage which is great to cover up breakouts and the CC Eye Fix Cream goes great with it. They had the shade 'Light', which goes perfect with my pale complexion. Although I was pleasantly pleased with these products, I am not including them in this post as it would be pages long and probably get super boring, however I may review them in a separate post.

On to the lip products..
I went a little crazy on lip products and trust me, if it wasn't for my cheap ways, I would have bought the whole shop!

Anyone who knows me will know that lipsticks are my absolute obsession, I collect them whenever I can find a great deal on them!
I was intrigued to try out the Rimmel London Kate Moss lipsticks, as so many people have raved about these products and I now know why, they are super duper creamy and soft on the lips and the shades are beautiful (AND THEY WERE £1.99 EACH)!!!!

I also wanted to try the Loreal Colour Riche lipsticks but only decided to get one as these were £2.50 each, still mega cheap though! The reason I wanted to try one of these was because I loved the very modern and classy packaging, I knew the product itself would be top quality and it really is. This lipstick glides on like a dream and is so creamy and very pigmented.

I am a huge fan of Tanya Burr and when it saw her lip glosses on sale for £1.99 each, I could have cried I was that excited, I only decided to get one for now, just to try out and then if this lip gloss beats my expectations, I will go and possibly purchase every colour available! I love this shade, its a nude colour with the tiniest sparkles of shimmer in, but not to much that your lips look like a disco ball, very classy, very Tanya Burr!

The Rimmel London Apocalips Lip Laquers were also on sale for £1.99 and I'm pretty sure they're about £4-£5 in my local drugstores. I never understood why everybody loved these lip laquers, I thought they were just tinted lip glosses, but oh my god, I was so wrong; they are basically a lip paint and are indeed pigmented that you only need a one layer. I chose the shade Across The Universe and this is the brightest red lip product I now own, these are incredible, I highly recommend them!

So, I bet your all wondering what they look like on..

TOP TO BOTTOM:
Rimmel Kate Moss - 26
Rimmel Kate Moss - 19
Loreal Colour Riche - Cherry Crush
Tanya Burr Lip gloss - Champagne Toast
Rimmel Apocalips - Across The Universe

How beautiful do they all look! And the best thing is, I saved a fortune by not paying the drugstore prices.

Everybody needs to go and check out Fragrance Direct and treat yourself to some goodies, there's something for everyone!

Thank you for reading.
Have a great day.

MUA Cosmetics Haul

Hi Ladies!
Today I have a small haul of makeup to show you, if you are a fan of good quality makeup at cheap prices then read on as this brand is one of the cheapest makeup brands I have come across. The brand is called MUA (Make Up Academy Cosmetics) and is has such a huge variety of products from lipstick to brushes to custom palettes.
At the moment there website are doing a free shipping deal for people who spend over £30 in one order so get that deal whilst you can, plus they also ship internationally which is a bonus!
So before I get started if you cant be bothered to read on then here is the website link, I hope you all find this website useful.. http://www.muastore.co.uk/

Lip Products

Scarlet Siren

Totally Nude

Wild Berry

These are the three shades I chose to try out and they had there benefits and disadvantages, they are great in the sense that they are very pigmented but the texture however is very much play-doe like, the texture is so dry that I have to more or less everytime use a lip brush to apply the product. However once on your lips the product looks fine and if you find that your lips look dry you can always apply a lipgloss over the top or mix another lipstick in with it which is what I do with the Wild Berry and Scarlet Siren.

Here is a swatch of the three shades:

As you can see the colours show up pretty impressive and for £1 each you could afford to buy them all and if you dont like them you wont have wasted to much money.

Eye Products

I got two eyeshadows to try out as they were also only £1 each. They are so good for the price they are at, there super pigmented and would suit any skin tone, the Matt eyeshadow is very dark and would create such a dramatic gothic look, as for the Pearl shade this one works ace as a base for your eyeshadow as it highlights the lids making them pop.

I do have other products from this brand but haven't had much chance to try them out so I haven't included them, although I will write a couple of sentences about each product and what I think of them so far:

Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter - I loved the look of this product but when it came to me I saw that it was far to shimmery for my liking, I have very pale skin so anything shimmery makes me look a bit like an orange clown! I wasn't impressed with that, however if you apply a small amount you can get away with not having to much shimmer to your look. This costs £3.
Pro-Base Prime And Conceal - This product is a concealer for your eyes which gets rid of any redness using the yellow tones that it has, this product is good, I don't really use eye primer a lot so I dont know what to expect but then again I also dont wear a lot of eyeshadow, Mainly only when Im going out. This cost £1.50
F6 Blusher & Contouring Brush - This brush I mainly use for bronzer, blusher and highlighter. I like this brush however its not the best, as I use it for my cheeks and it doesn't blend the product in as well as I would like it to. This cost £3
L1 Lip Brush - This brush is amazing! For the price of the brush its such good quality, its just the right size for my lips and is such a smooth brush. Its a nice shape and keeps its shape no matter how much you use it. It applys lipstick more accuratly and evenly. The cool thing about this brush is that the handle breaks off so that you can use the bottom of it as a lid so you dont get the brush dirty, and its handy to put in your purse! This was only £1.50 and ill happily say it was worth the little amount I paid and I would buy more of them in the future.

Argan Oil | Negative Review

I received these three products for christmas and I was so excited to try them as Ive heard Agran Oil is incredible for hair! But I literally cannot think of anything worse to use on my hair now I have tried these products and I will never use these products again. Now these particular product are the cheap version as they value at £1 each, this could be the reason why there so rubbish but I realised that the better brands which have a Argan Oil collection are always so expensive for my liking especially if the product isn't going to work on my hair. The oil is worse than the shampoo and conditioner, i leaves my hair so greasy. Here are some pictures of how my hair looks after using these products.

My hair almost looks wet as its that greasy. Theres no point in using these products if I just have to wash my hair again straight after. I don't know whether its because the products are cheap but I have used very cheap hair products and they have been the better than the more high priced ones. I sometimes use the Morrisons value conditioner if my mum buys it as we have 5 heads to clean in our family so shampoo can get expensive, but it is the best conditioner I've ever used and you get alot of product for your money, this shows that it may not be the price making it rubbish, maybe im not using the products correctly.

This is the worst picture of the two, this is my natural hair colour and my hair is naturally greasy but never this bad.

I would be delighted to hear your opinions on which brands are the best and if anyone has tried this certain brand has it worked for you or not?
