PARCEL GENIE ~ Win/Review

Hi everyone, I have a quick post for you all, as I won £5 credit on Twitter for an app called Parcel Genie. I normally don't blog a great deal about food or sweets but I'm so impressed with this app that I have to recommend it to you!

 

How does the app work?

Its pretty simple, you download the app and select a gift from the list of goodies, you can send a gift to someone else's address or treat yourself, but I would highly recommend this app for occasions such as birthdays and celebrations! Once you have selected the gift you can add a personal message onto a card of your choice (different designs to choose from), then you enter your friends number, which they will then get a text saying you are sending them a gift, they then reply FOR FREE with their address for the gift to be sent to them. Another way is to enter the persons address yourself, if you know it. Then the gift will be delivered, hand wrapped with your note inside. Its that simple!

 



 

I am super impressed with this app, I sent my sister a gift and it arrived the day after, with free postage to! It was great timing as my sister had just finished parents evening so as a treat I surprised her with the gift. The gift was sent to my address as my sister lives with me, so I knew it had arrived. My sister loved the little treat I gave her, and even my mum was amazed.

I then showed my mum the app and she said it will come in handy for future gifts, therefore I am keeping the app on my iPad and I'm sure it will be used again! The prices of each gift is amazing, from the gifts I looked at, prices were no higher than £6 maybe £7, I cant quite remember, but they were super cheap.

 

The packaging is very nice, as a gift.. your friend, mother, father, brother, sister, partner, would be very impressed.

I give this app a 10/10.

I don't normally tend to buy from apps as I find it easier to use the internet, but this app couldn't be more easier to use!

Mallzee (The new generation of personal stylists) | Review

As my first post of October, I come to you with an AMALLZEEBALLS review on an app. It's my first time doing an app related post but I am always up for a challenge.

The fashion app I have been testing out recently is called 'Mallzee' as you may have guessed by from my hurendous 'Amallzeeballs' quote above! 

If you love to shop online, are a shopping addict like myself or just like to browse the Internet looking for clothes you can't afford (also like myself), then this is a must have app for you, yes you!

Mallzee is your very own personal stylist, as quoted from the makers of Mallzee, they say that this app is like 'a personal stylist for your pocket', and who doesn't want there own personal stylist for when your on the go, or just relaxing at home.

 

As technology is getting even more advanced, as well as becoming a massive part of our lives, it makes sense to have an online fashion app to make our shopping experience easier, faster and more tailored to our hectic lifestyles!

 

Mallzee gives you all the brands you could ever wish for under one roof/app, you just simply search for the brand you want and get shopping (as well as other features)!

 

As you can see from the screenshot below, I have already added a bunch of awesome items to my saved list to go back to whenever convenient for myself, this is just one of the useful features on this app.

 

 

I find the saved section of this app very useful, as I can see everything in one place, what price each item is, the name of the item and the brand.

 

This app also features various sections such as: settings, brand search and style feeds; which you can learn more about by downloading the app yourself and having a play around - CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD MALLZEE.

 

The layout of this app is simple, yet effective and has a very modern theme to it.

 

As Christmas is around the corner and your children, cousins, brothers and sisters all get demanding with there massive Christmas lists, so this app may just come in handy for you!

With brands to suit all the family, you will be sure to give the best Christmas presents this year, and don't worry if your on a tight budget, as when you save items to the saved box, you will be alerted when this item is on offer/sale which is great for a cheapskate like myself!

I HAVE DEPOP!!!!

Wow, its been a week or two since I've blogged and I feel so guilty, but here I am to make it up to you with a positive blog post.

I heard about the buzz of an app called 'Depop', where you sell items and people can make an instant payment using PayPal, sounded like a great idea, but the thought of it sounding familiar to eBay didn't really sell the app to me. eBay to me is a bit slow, sometimes you don't get any interest in your items and its just not my cup of internet-tea. Depop I must say is my new found love, its a god send to people with a wardrobe full of stuff they never use or wear. Its a fast app which allows people to buy from you in the click of a button, all the information is sent to you correctly and its 100% safe.

For the month of August depop have decided to do a 'no depop fee' month, so get selling your stuff before the offer ends. You will never be charged for listing your items, when you sell an item depop will take 10% commission from your final sale, which is not a lot, and they will also take a small depop fee from you, however if you do not sell the item you can delete it/keep it on and you will not be charged (unless you make a sale with the item).

 

I have been on depop 3 days and already sold two items making me a very happy girl and making someone else a very happy girl. All the buyers and sellers are very friendly, except from the odd person I have had be mean to me, but you will get that anywhere. Its so easy to add items onto your account and is fun to do! You can choose from different filters to jazz up your pictures or you can go natural and add no filter, opinions are endless. So if you have a room full of things you need quick rid of, then stick them on depop and watch the money fall into your PayPal account very quickly. I know I cant say much as I have only sold two items but there has been a lot of interest on my other items so I look forward to selling more.
