I HAVE DEPOP!!!!

Wow, its been a week or two since I've blogged and I feel so guilty, but here I am to make it up to you with a positive blog post.
I heard about the buzz of an app called 'Depop', where you sell items and people can make an instant payment using PayPal, sounded like a great idea, but the thought of it sounding familiar to eBay didn't really sell the app to me. eBay to me is a bit slow, sometimes you don't get any interest in your items and its just not my cup of internet-tea. Depop I must say is my new found love, its a god send to people with a wardrobe full of stuff they never use or wear. Its a fast app which allows people to buy from you in the click of a button, all the information is sent to you correctly and its 100% safe.
For the month of August depop have decided to do a 'no depop fee' month, so get selling your stuff before the offer ends. You will never be charged for listing your items, when you sell an item depop will take 10% commission from your final sale, which is not a lot, and they will also take a small depop fee from you, however if you do not sell the item you can delete it/keep it on and you will not be charged (unless you make a sale with the item).

I have been on depop 3 days and already sold two items making me a very happy girl and making someone else a very happy girl. All the buyers and sellers are very friendly, except from the odd person I have had be mean to me, but you will get that anywhere. Its so easy to add items onto your account and is fun to do! You can choose from different filters to jazz up your pictures or you can go natural and add no filter, opinions are endless. So if you have a room full of things you need quick rid of, then stick them on depop and watch the money fall into your PayPal account very quickly. I know I cant say much as I have only sold two items but there has been a lot of interest on my other items so I look forward to selling more.

So follow me and I will follow back: oliviacathx
Like to have a look at what depop has to offer, then click HERE ,get the app and start selling or buying.

I hope you join depop soon, thanks for reading.

WIMH | Essie Apricot Cuticle Oil

Hi girls, sorry it's been a while since I posted, again I've been super busy with coursework deadlines which are driving me nuts! But I'm back and have a review for you all on an amazing product I tried out today.

I received a parcel today from WIMH.com, for all you people who don't know what this website is it stands for WHATS IN MY HANDBAG, and basically you sign up and you can store items you want in your online beauty cabinet and also select products you have tried and you can write a review on them. Around every 6 weeks they do a TRY product in which they will inform you about via email and also will be advertised on their website. To be eligible to apply you must take a quick questionaire, sometimes they don't do questionnaires; normally there are around three questions such as 'have your tried this product before?' Etc, then you give in your address and when the deadline to enter is up they will send a product to a certain amount of people, sometimes you won't get the product but I have had 4 products in a year so I can't complain. You need to be patient you WILL get a product to try, plus they give out multiple products instead of just choosing one person. If you are chosen to receive a product in return you will do a short review on their website saying your true opinion. It's as simple as that! Then you get to keep the product and the best part is that it's free!!!!!

So this is the product I received and it's the best one yet! I have been dying to try an Essie product out for so long and when this came in the post I was thrilled.

I recieved the Apricot Cuticle Oil from Essie. This stuff is amazing! It smells so good and makes your cuticles look so smooth and neat, this stuff actually works, I have tried products in the past which have sucked but I would deffinatly recommend this to anyone looking for a decent cuticle oil. The good this about this oil is that a small drop goes a long way meaning you will get a lot of use of out of it! As for the packaging it is super cute and simple! I would totally give this product a massive 10/10 so go and try it and also sign up to What's In My Handbag for incredible trials!

As the Essie website is in dollars I found this on Feelunique.com for £8.50 which is reasonable and not as expensive as I thought. I will definatly be purchasing this again when I run out of it. Very happy girl :)

Models Own | Lip Stix

Hey there!
This morning I went to do the last big of christmas sale shopping. I had a £10 Boots gift card from christmas and I spent it today on a product ive been waiting to try for so long. And TA-DAAAA, I took this opportunity to buy not one but two of the Models Own Lip Stix which are basically chunky lip crayons, they cost £5 each which is a reasonable price.
Here are some pics of the shades I chose and bought.

I chose these shades as I don't tend to buy many pink lipsticks so I thought ide start off my collection of pink's now. Beauty Blush is such a pretty, barbie like pink and to me it would suit any skin tone. BUT I am such a big fan of purple lip products hence the reason why I bought this lovely lilac shade called Purple Pleasure, It applies a lot lighter than it looks, its almost a pink colour, infact in the picture below it looks very pink. I normally go for dark purples if I am choosing a lip product but im sure I can find ways to make it work!

I am obsessed with the texture of these stix, they are so smooth and mositurising, I have used a lot of lipsticks that have been very dry on my lips but these do the complete opposite. I normally apply a base before putting lipstick on such as a lip primer or vasaline to make the surface of my lips smoother for applying lipstick but I didn't have to do it with these.
I would deffinatly by more and may even try to get the whole collection as they are super cheap compared to other cosmetic brands.

Top swatch: Purple Pleasure
Bottom Swatch: Beauty Blush
when swatched these lipstix look very pigmented.

In Boots at the moment when you buy two or more products from the brand Models Own you get a FREE glitter kit worth £10!!! This made me very happy as I now have the chance to try out Models Own's nail polish which Ive hear a lot of positive things about.

Comment below if you have tried any other Models Own products that you would or even wouldn't recommend as I will be sure to shop with them again.
