Jeffree Star Beauty Killer Palette | Review

Good morning!

I am very excited to be doing this review today after a month of trying out the new and incredible Jeffree Star Beauty Killer eyeshadow palette.
When Jeffree Star first revealed that he was in the process of creating his first ever eyeshadow palette I knew it would be amazing and very unique to the eyeshadow palettes I already own.
This palette is 'Very Jeffre Star', with bright colours and high pigmentation, this palette is a must have for all makeup lovers.

I promised myself that as soon as this palette came out I would treat myself to one, I am not one to spend a fortune on makeup, however this I feel is a great investment piece. The colours are like no other colours I own, therefore I wanted to splash out on this palette so I had a wide range of colours to experiment with.
This palette cost me $45, I had to order from the US which cost me $10 shipping, I also had a £14 custom fee to pay, so overall this did cost me a bomb but I will most definitely get my moneys worth out of it.

The pan sizes are truly impressive, if you compare the size of these pans to a mac pan they are a lot bigger, therefore there is a ton of product in each pan. I have been using my palette religiously now for just over a month and there is still so much product left.

As for the consistency of these eyeshadows they are very buttery and smooth making them easy to blend. The only bad thing I have to say about these eyeshadows are that they can be a bit powdery which leads to fall out, however a lot of eyeshadows have this problem, its something that can be dealt with. I like the fact this palette also has a decent sized mirror, which makes it a great palette for when I'm on my travels.

The names of these shadows are great, very different and all fun names that make this palette very 'sassy' - just like Jeffree himself!
My favourite shade has to be 'Star Power' which is the first colour, the neon pink shade, the pigment in this shade is unreal, its not normally a colour I would reach for until discovered this palette.

This palette includes:
3 Matte shades
7 Shimmer shades

There are endless looks you can create with this palette, I have been trying to go out of my comfort zone and try more vibrant, dramatic looks and this palette has helped me achieve that.

I created a look to share with you, I kept this look pretty simple to show you that you can create everyday looks as I know dramatic looks aren't for everyone.

I used the shade 'China White' for the base colour, then went in with 'Courtney' for the transition shade to blend out any harsh lines I may create. In the outer corner I used 'Star Power' and as you can see I blended the colour out a lot to create a more neutral pink shade. Lastly I went over the lid with a mixture of 'Confession' and 'Princess' which created a champagne shimmer colour, perfect for everyday or even for a special occasion.

The great thing about this palette also is that I have been using the shade 'Princess' as a highlighter and it works fantastic, this shade is gorgeous on the cheeks therefore your getting two benefits out of this shade.

My overall opinion on this palette is that it is a fab investment piece that I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a high quality eyeshadow palette with a vide variety of shades.
100% worth the crazy amount of money I paid, I would rather spend more money and get a top quality palette than spend less and waste my money on a palette that is of a poor quality.

If you would like to check out this palette, please click HERE to be taken to the official Jeffree Star website where you can find and purchase this lush eyeshadow palette for yourself.

I hope you all have a fab week.
Thanks for reading.

Blac Chyna Lashes Liquid Lipstick | First Impressions

Good evening!

Today I come to you with a very exciting first impressions post on a beauty product I have been dying to try for such a long time.

If you haven't heard of Blac Chyna, she is a beautiful model who is currently engaged to the well known Rob Kardashian and is expecting her second child with him, and not to mention she is one of Kim Kardashians BFF's ;-)

Chyna started her own eyelash line a few years back called 'Lashed' and only recently did she decide to widen her brand and create a collection of liquid lipsticks. Her liquid lipsticks caught my eye immediately however as she is in the U.S I have struggled to get my hands on one myself.
I reached to one of my favourite apps 'DEPOP', its pretty much like eBay but much easier to use and less time wasters. You don't have to bid on items either, its simple, if you like what you see, you can buy instantly using PayPal.
I found a lady who was selling her Lashed Liquid Lipstick and I was cheeky enough to ask her if she would go any lower on the price and sure enough she let me have it for just £9 including P&P, I was thrilled as she lived in the UK and could post to my UK address.
And yes, makeup on Depop can be 'used', however that's something that doesn't bother me, as long as the products are in good condition, I don't mind. You can get high end makeup on Depop for such low prices! I highly recommend this app as I have bought some bargains on their in the past that I wouldn't be able to afford if I was to pay full retail price.

Anyway, enough of me rambling on, lets get to the good part.. my first impressions!
First of all I will show you the finishing look, I got the shade 'Mink Pink' and it reminded me of the Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick in 'Doll Parts' which I also own.
Chyna's liquid lipsticks however are not a matte finish, but leave a stunning, sexy, gloss finish, whilst still being highly pigmented.

How gorgeous does that look! This shade would suit any skin tone and I reckon anyone could pull this colour off!

You get so much product for your money as the size of the packaging is double the size of a normal liquid lipstick, for example, if you compare it to the LA Splash liquid lipstick packaging you will see a big difference.

The applicator is a decent size and is easy to use and makes the application glide on smoothly without any smudging.
As I normally find with glossy lip colours whether a lip gloss or lipstick, they can be quite a sticky texture, however this liquid lipstick is light weight when on your lips and does not feel sticky whatsoever.

The only thing I feel she could do with improving on is the fact her liquid lipsticks do NOT come in a box/packaging, which to me is a bit odd, however I did buy mine second hand so the packaging wasn't a problem for me, however if I was to purchase another one brand new I would expect it to be nicely packaged as I feel these liquid lipsticks could look even more appealing in eye catching packaging.

Altogether I love this product and would consider trying more, especially as I've heard she is bringing out a matte collection soon, whether that's true or not is another story (a girl can dream).
I just wish these were sold in the UK to so it would be easier for us Brit's to get our hands on them.

If you would like to have a nosey at the Lashed website then please click HERE
Also don't forget to download Depop and see what bargains you can find ;-)

Thank you so much for reading, hope you all have a fab weekend!

Speak soon.

FUNKY FESTIVAL/RAVE MAKEUP & HAIR..

Hello everyone!

Today's post is inspired by the festival season which is now approaching us..
I have never been to a festival before simply because I just haven't got round to going to one, however I was truly inspired by all the YouTube 'Coachella' makeup looks that beauty guru's were re-creating and that got me keen to try and create a makeup look myself, that could be worn to a festival and really make you stand out!

As so many people are getting excited over the festivals that are lined up this year, I wanted to give you girls (and guys even) some inspiration in the makeup & hair department..

When I think of festivals, I think of everyone getting together to celebrate music, having a laugh and letting your hair down, leaving all the stress of reality at the field gates! Therefore I created a fun makeup look which can be easily created by anyone whether your a pro or a learner..
My sister also did my hair for me (she's very talented) using a curling wand to create big curls to add volume to my hair.

So what are you waiting for, scroll down to see my finished look..

I went for a bronzed look as I wanted to really stand out and have that 'natural glow' look to my face.
I used a pale concealer for my under eyes and centre of my forehead to create highlighted areas and add some brightness to my face, as I am normally very pale and have 0 colour! The concealer I highly recommend for pale skin is the Collection - lasting perfection concealer in the shade Fair, its inexpensive and works just as good as any high end concealer, great for if your on a budget!

I am so pleased with how my eye makeup turned out!
I watched endless videos on YouTube for how to create a funky neon eye look and when it came to me doing it, I just went for it and made it all up as I went along, and it wasn't bad for my first attempt!

I don't normally wear bright colours like the ones I used in this look, but after seeing how successful this eye look turned out, I may have to experiment with colour a bit more!

I used so many products for the eyes, I cant even remember half of them, however one product I will point out which I have been raving about lately is my MAC Cosmetics Chromaline eyeliner in the shade 'Basic Red', this eyeliner glides on like a dream and you only need the tiniest amount of product on your brush, a little really does go a long way! And as for pigmentation, of course its highly pigmented, its MAC after all - nothing but the best!

For my lips I used one of my all time favourite MAC lipsticks, which is the recently new Miley Cyrus Viva Glam II, this colour is sooooooo bright, its a red lipstick with a slight hint of orange so when your in different lighting the colour looks different shades of red!

So that was my festival inspired makeup and hair look..
I hope you enjoyed reading..

Let me know in the comments below if your going to any festivals this year & send me your makeup looks!

Have a brilliant week and I will catch up with you all soon!

Glo & Ray | Date Night Makeup Look

Hi everyone, hope your all having a great week, glad to be back with another makeup look to share with you.

As we all know Valentine's Day has just passed and I hope you all had a great day, whether you spent it with your partner or your loved ones, I was single for Valentine's Day so it was a lonely one for me, however I spent some much needed quality time with my family so it was still a great day overall!

I wanted to create a makeup look dedicated to Valentine's Day, however as that special occasion has already passed I thought it would be just as good to create a date night look.

I was sent over some goodies from Glo & Ray who are a British Cosmetics Company who make a phenomenal range of makeup suitable for everyone and anyone!

I previously worked with Glo & Ray back in summer last year ( Balloon Pop Review ) and I just love this company, the team are so friendly and really believe in my work which makes me so thankful and blessed, so thank you team G&R :-) !!!

The first product I have been loving is the Mariposa Quartet Eyeshadow Quad in 'Golden Dunes'. This eye palette consists of four vibrant, neutral, shimmer shades which illuminate the eyes.
These eye shadows are long lasting and smudge proof so you don't need to worry about having to top up your makeup half way through the day!
There are so many eye looks you can create with this palette as well as mixing the eyeshadows together to create your own unique shade.

I then used the Lasting Silky Eyeliner in the shade 303 - 'Golden Age',a stunning, shimmery bronze liner which is so pigmented and makes your eyes pop, giving them a smoky effect at the same time! This is probably my favourite eyeliner that I own now, I have used Glo & Ray eyeliners in the past and all of them stay put and don't move or smudge like most eyeliners I've tried and tested.
This eyeliner really is 'Lasting' as it says in the name.

These products worked perfectly for my date night look and I normally am never 100% satisfied with my makeup but by using these products they gave me the confidence I needed to finally believe that I looked beautiful.

And here is the final look..

I used eyeliner to add to my bronzed eye makeup, I wanted a dramatic eye with a nude, toned down lip. I think by creating a dramatic eye look with a nude lip drew all the attention to the eyes which is what I was trying to achieve.

I really enjoyed experimenting with these two products and working with Glo & Ray for a second time!

If you would like to try out these products for yourself to see the amazing results I saw then you can find them over on the Glo & Ray website by clicking HERE.

Thank you for reading.
See you soon for more beauty posts.

Kylie Jenner | Golden Globes After Party Inspired Makeup Look

Hellllllllllllllllllo, hope everyone is having a relaxing Saturday!

I am here with an inspired makeup look to share with you all.
Lately I have been seeing the same images ALL OVER social media of the beautiful Kylie Jenner and the look that she absolutely rocked during the 2016 Golden Globes after party that recently took place, not only was her makeup on point but her outfit was stunning, she just looked like a bronzed goddess and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who was 'well jel'.

I seem to find myself going back to these pictures a lot lately and admiring the makeup look she went for, not only does it give off a sexy vibe but its at the same time very simple, she stuck with a plain, nude lip and all the attention was drawn to her eyes and bold eyebrows!

Since I just cant take my eyes of these photos that have been taking up my Instagram like crazy, I thought it would be the perfect time to do a celebrity inspired makeup look for you guys.

So I attempted to recreate this look to the best of my ability and it was pretty straight forward as most products were bronze shades and I am addicted to bronzing my face up so it felt right to go with this look as it fits my 'makeup taste' very well.

I loved creating this look as my skin just looked perfectly glowy afterwards and its always fun to do celebrity looks in my opinion!

As for the hair I thought it was such a different change for Kylie as she's 90% of the time got her hair down or up in a messy ponytail, this was something different and I think this sleek and polished bun really showed her eyes off more and made the whole look come together.
I hate the shape of my face so unfortunately this hairstyle did not suit me one bit, but it was fun experimenting with styles that are out of my comfort zone, however its safe to say I wont be recreating this hair style again.

Creating the bronzed eye makeup was a walk in the park for me as I mainly use bronze shades for my eyes on a daily basis, although I did find it a bit difficult to create the darker shades in the outer corners of my eyes. I went for a more toned down eye look as I knew if I went over it to much I would end up messing it up, therefore I had to stop before it all went wrong.

I liked creating the simple nude lip as its different to what I would normally go for, I prefer more of a dramatic nude lip like Kylie Jenner normally goes for but I liked changing it up and testing out some lip glosses that had been abandoned in my makeup drawer, for my lips I used the L'Oreal Paris Color Riche J Lo lip shade called Barely Greige which is stunning as it doesn't have much of a bold colour to it, its more of a lip gloss but in the form of a lipstick with a nude tint to it, this lip product is also very affordable for only £6.99 from Boots, I would recommend any makeup lover to give this shade a try!

For the highlighting I used one of my recent favourites which is one of the Make Up Revolution highlighters which I received in the Make Up Revolution advent calendar last year, I tried to look for it on the MUR website however I cant find it, therefore it could be a limited edition that was made for the calendar only.

For the eyebrows, it was fun creating a bold look ,it took me a while to create the brows as I'm not use to doing mine so thick! I used my absolute holy grail dip brow pomade from Anastasia Beverly Hills in the shade Auburn, I highly recommend this product as it stays all day and is so smooth! AHHH I love it!

So that pretty much wraps up this look..

It was a lot of fun doing this post as I don't do many celeb inspired pieces, after this one I will definitely consider doing more in the future. If you have any suggestions for me feel free to comment and let me know.

Thank you all for reading.
Speak soon!

Lots of love..

Studio 10 | Skin Perfecting Palettes

Hi everyone, so glad to be back at my computer desk, working on another blog piece to share with all my lovely followers..

Todays brand im going to be talking about is called Studio 10, who focus on an innovative range of age perfecting makeup products that are created to help give women the ability to look more youthful and feel more confident in their own skin.

Although this brand aims their products at women aged 30+, they still have other amazing products suitable for anyone of any age, and I was lucky enough to be sent two palettes to try out myself.

I received the Age Defy Skin Perfector palette and the Visible Lift I-Definer palette, both of these palettes cost £32 each from the Studio 10 website (CLICK HERE).

I used both palettes for my face even though the I-Definer palette is created for the eyes, the products also work great to contour and highlight the face, so its a win win!

Age Defy Skin Perfector palette

I am in LOVE with this palette, it is my go-to palette for prepping my face for foundation, there are multiple products in this palette which help certain problems with my skin, the green corrector I use for my red patches on my skin which I sometimes get, especially during bad skin break outs and under my eyes, the two concealers are so thick and creamy and give a really impressive coverage, however the second concealer in this palette is way to dark for my skin tone but the first one is perfect so as you can see from the photo I am defiantly getting some good use out of that one.

Although you don't get a massive amount of each product in this palette, you don't need to as a little goes a long way with these products, I've had these palettes for about two months and I use them daily and still haven't hit the pan yet!

10 out of 10 from me and would highly recommend investing in this palette to see how good it is for yourself :-)

Visible Lift I-Define palette

I like this palette as all the products can be used for multiple purposes, I use a lot of these products daily such as using the neutralise powder to set my under eye concealer and the highlighter to highlight under my brow bone to create a sharp, clean finish to my eye makeup.

I am not as in love with this palette as I am with the Skin Perfector palette, however it is perfect for anyone who prefers to use powder makeup rather than creams or liquids and due to my dry skin, I find that liquids work better with me.

This palette for me personally is only a 5/10 as I believe it would benefit the older range of women more.

So, want to see the results from these palettes..

As you can see the products from the Skin Perfector palette have blended like a dream and covered all my imperfections as well as any dark areas. Super impressed with the results and I don't look half dead anymore, yayyyyyyy!

I finished my makeup and look.. zero imperfections!

Even if you didn't want to create a dramatic makeup look you could still use the products in the two palettes to cover up any blemishes that you may want to hide, you wouldn't even have to apply foundation over the top if you were going for a more natural look. Studio 10 products are suitable for any women wanting to create any look.

Thank you to Studio 10 for letting me experiment with your fantastic products & thank you to my followers for reading, hope you enjoyed.

See you soon!
Lots of love.

Joan Collins - Timeless Beauty

Hi everyone, sorry its been a while, my life has never been so busy!
Its nice to finally be able to sit down for a few hours and write for you lovely people.

Today I am reviewing a lipstick and lip liner from the Joan Collins - Timeless Beauty collection.
I have never really known much about Joan Collins herself, however, by seeing pictures of her and seeing her on television, I know she has such a wonderful, classy and elegant sense of style. If I look as timeless as her when im her age, I will be a very happy lady. Anyway, moving on..

I am so mega impressed with the products I was sent to review.

This lipstick is 'to die for'. The lipstick case is incredible, in fact, its quite heavy
a heavy case. I have never seen such beautiful packaging and the gold casing makes this lipstick look like its worth a million dollars! I have had so many positive comments on this lipstick, from the packaging to the colour itself.

This shade is heavenly, I love bright lip colours, as long as they don't give the 'im trying to look like a Barbie doll' impression. I don't own a lot of pink lippies, as I prefer nude and red tones as they suit my fair skin better; however this colour really goes well with my pale complexion and gives my face a pop of colour without it looking to over the top! I wear this lipstick to work everyday more or less and it stays on so well!

The only negative this I can say about this product is that it tends to bleed quite easy onto the top of my lip and isn't easy to take off without a makeup wipe.

The price range of these lipsticks are £18 from the official website ( JoanCollinsBeauty ) which I think is reasonable for a high end, good quality beauty product, which will last you a long time.

Onto the lip liner. Oh my goodness, I am loving this lip liner, not only is it super pigmented when applied onto the lip, it has a double sided brush that you can use to blend in any lip product or the lip liner. This brush is super soft and sturdy so it will give you an accurate blend. I think this is such a handy idea and its like getting a makeup brush for free, which im sure every makeup geek would love!

This shade is a lot lighter than the lipstick, however I don't think it is suppose to match the shade of the lipstick, but that's fine as I have a few lip sticks already that would go great with this liner. The black and gold design is so classic and gives the product an expensive, high quality look to it.

The price of this lip liner is £12 from the official website, which I think is amazing to say you get the brush on the opposite end.

I am so impressed with these products and would highly recommend them to anyone any age, and that's the good thing, this collection is suitable for a variety of ages!

The colours are so pigmented, even one swipe and it gives a super intense look. You could also dress these colours up or down, for a casual day or a fancy night out.

Please check out the website linked about (in the red text) and let me know which products take your fancy!

Thank you for reading, have a great week and speak soon!

Transformation Tuesday!

Hi everyone, hope your all having a good week.

This weeks post was inspired by a YouTube beauty guru who I am obsessed with at the moment, her channel goes by the name of NikkiTutorials. She is extremely talented when it comes to makeup and you should all check her channel out! She uploaded a video two weeks ago called 'The Power of Makeup', in this video she completed her makeup routine on half of her face and the result was mind blowing, she looked like a completely different person, yet still naturally stunning with the other half of her face bare.
As I was inspired by this I though I would do my first ever Transformation Tuesday post to show you all how makeup can enhance your facial features and be a work of art at the same time.

I wear makeup because its a passion of mine and it gives me confidence, however I do not do it for anyone but myself. I don't want to give the impression that everyone has to wear makeup to feel good or look a certain way, its just something I love to do in my spare time. If you feel confident enough without wearing makeup, that's a truly amazing thing and you should embrace it.

So this Transformation Tuesday is going to show how I would wear makeup on a daily basis, nothing to dramatic but just enough makeup to give me healthy looking, glowy skin..

(Please excuse the bright red marks on the top of my forehead, I previously died my hair and you know how hard it is to get the dye off your skin, forgive me).

Im obsessed with big, nude lips ever since Kylie Jenner's humongous lips became the most talked about topic on social media, even though after disappointingly finding out KJ had lip fillers, I know you can still create big lips without the pain or expense. I use the Fullips Lip Enhancers which I talk about soooo much on my Instagram and Twitter, I am ADDICTED! I finished this look off with the Rimmel London Kate Moss lipstick in shade 26 which I am loving at the moment, as its so creamy it glides on so easily.

I used the brand new Rimmel London good to glow highlighter for this looks, I was so eager to get my hands on this product as it looked so much like the Benefit high beam highlighter (and a lot cheaper than the high beam to) and now I have my hands on this product I have realised it works just as good, its an amazing product and blends like a dream, I give it a massive 10/10.

Fragrance Direct Haul

Happy Sunday everyone!

Today I have a haul for you, from an online store called Fragrance Direct, which I'm sure a lot of people have heard of before.
I had heard of Fragrance Direct previously but never decided to check out there website until now, and I was so surprised at how low prices were! Fragrance Direct to me, sounded expensive and I didn't even know they did makeup until I came across there twitter account. Basically.. Fragrance Direct sell high quality makeup, skin care, hair care, body care and of course fragrances, but at unbelievable prices, that are affordable for everyone!

I had to pick up a few bargains myself and I was very happy to find when I went to checkout that my order had only come to an impressive £18.99 including shipping at only £1.99 (5-7 days), now that's awesome!

I purchased a lot of lip products as well as two Nip and Fab goodies, which included the Nip and Fab CC Face Cream (£3.99) and CC Eye Fix Cream (£3.50). I am in LOVE with the CC Face Cream as it is tinted, therefore can be used as a foundation, it also gives a medium coverage which is great to cover up breakouts and the CC Eye Fix Cream goes great with it. They had the shade 'Light', which goes perfect with my pale complexion. Although I was pleasantly pleased with these products, I am not including them in this post as it would be pages long and probably get super boring, however I may review them in a separate post.

On to the lip products..
I went a little crazy on lip products and trust me, if it wasn't for my cheap ways, I would have bought the whole shop!

Anyone who knows me will know that lipsticks are my absolute obsession, I collect them whenever I can find a great deal on them!
I was intrigued to try out the Rimmel London Kate Moss lipsticks, as so many people have raved about these products and I now know why, they are super duper creamy and soft on the lips and the shades are beautiful (AND THEY WERE £1.99 EACH)!!!!

I also wanted to try the Loreal Colour Riche lipsticks but only decided to get one as these were £2.50 each, still mega cheap though! The reason I wanted to try one of these was because I loved the very modern and classy packaging, I knew the product itself would be top quality and it really is. This lipstick glides on like a dream and is so creamy and very pigmented.

I am a huge fan of Tanya Burr and when it saw her lip glosses on sale for £1.99 each, I could have cried I was that excited, I only decided to get one for now, just to try out and then if this lip gloss beats my expectations, I will go and possibly purchase every colour available! I love this shade, its a nude colour with the tiniest sparkles of shimmer in, but not to much that your lips look like a disco ball, very classy, very Tanya Burr!

The Rimmel London Apocalips Lip Laquers were also on sale for £1.99 and I'm pretty sure they're about £4-£5 in my local drugstores. I never understood why everybody loved these lip laquers, I thought they were just tinted lip glosses, but oh my god, I was so wrong; they are basically a lip paint and are indeed pigmented that you only need a one layer. I chose the shade Across The Universe and this is the brightest red lip product I now own, these are incredible, I highly recommend them!

So, I bet your all wondering what they look like on..

TOP TO BOTTOM:
Rimmel Kate Moss - 26
Rimmel Kate Moss - 19
Loreal Colour Riche - Cherry Crush
Tanya Burr Lip gloss - Champagne Toast
Rimmel Apocalips - Across The Universe

How beautiful do they all look! And the best thing is, I saved a fortune by not paying the drugstore prices.

Everybody needs to go and check out Fragrance Direct and treat yourself to some goodies, there's something for everyone!

Thank you for reading.
Have a great day.

Kiss Cosmetics | Lip Vinyl

Happy Saturday everyone!
I have some exciting news for you all...  there is a new cosmetics brand that are mega close to launching and I am here to tell you about one of there products which will be available to purchase online from the 6th May at kisscosmetics.co.uk.
Before I get into the review, let me tell you a bit about this brand..
Kiss Cosmetics are an Essex based cosmetics brand which are due to launch their website in just 4 days time! This new brand is cruelty free which is always a bonus and they have some great products which im sure will sell out in no time, so if your a makeup lover like myself, have a read about one of their products I was lucky enough to try out before the launch!
I tried a product called Lip Vinyl, which to me is heaven in a tube, it is a liquid lipstick. I love the idea of a liquid lipstick, as there's a lot of lipsticks I've tried which can be very drying on the lips, so this product makes sure you get the high pigmented colour as well as a glossy shine. Another awesome thing about this product is that KISS Cosmetics do a lipstick range and the Lip Vinyl colour shades match their KISStick lipsticks perfectly, so you could use both of them together to create an even more bold look!
(The RRP price from the Lip Vinyl's are £7.00).

The shade I received is 'Naked Pink'. I love this shade so much, they couldn't have sent me a better shade, I love that this Lip Vinyl is a bright pink shade but not to bright that the colour looks like that tacky 'Barbie Pink', its a classy version!

The packaging is beautiful, I am really impressed with the logo design, font and colours of the packaging, its very simple, making it look like a high quality product, which it most definitely is!

As for the product itself, I am amazed by the bright pigmented colour that shows up once applied, I wasn't very convinced before trying this Lip Vinyl that it would appear very well and would be more of a lip gloss than a lipstick, but it really does work and is perfect for anyone looking for a lip product that gives a natural finish.

The texture is a tad bit to much for me, in the sense that its a bit heavy on the lips, but it is a liquid lipstick after all, so I expected that (I guess its just the fact that I always wear matte lip colours that have no gloss to them and only need a thin layer).

This is what 'Naked Pink' looks like on the lips. As you can see my lips look very natural but with a hint of pink, which I like as it gives my lips some colour and shine.

I am so impressed with how well this shade compliments my skin tone, the paleness of my skin goes well with such a natural looking colour. This product was developed by Kiss Cosmetics to suit every skin tone, and I believe that 100% as I can certainly see this shade suiting anyone of any skin colour.

This product is so handy, due to it being so natural, it could be an everyday product that could be dressed up or down with other makeup products.

Overall I am delighted with the Lip Vinyl's and cannot wait to collect more shades!

I hope you enjoyed reading this post, and feel free to check out the Kiss Cosmetics website when it launches, the website is live at the moment but is not completed, although you could go and have a quick nosey ;-)

Thanks for reading, have a great rest of the weekend!

NYC All Day Long Smooth Skin Foundation | Review

Hi there, sorry its been a week or two since I last posted, I've been so busy as I recently have landed myself an amazing apprenticeship and have been there and back doing training, interviews and paperwork, therefore its been hard to fit my blogging in; but now I have the rest of the week free to relax and do what I love doing best, blogging!
Today I have a review from the brand called NYC, they are a cosmetics brand and can be seen in drugstores such as Superdrug and Boots. I have only recently been trying out products from NYC, and as I've been so impressed with there products, I though I would try out a foundation! There is a market stall in my local festival market that sells makeup and they sell products which are maybe from an old collection or line, at cheap prices! I recently bought a foundation which I thought I would give a go as, A: It was only £3.99 and B: the shade looked quite light for my pale skin tone.

The foundation I bought was the NYC all day long foundation in the shade Classic Ivory. In stores or online, I never ever ever ever find foundations which are light enough for my skin, they just don't exist, so when I saw how light this foundation looked, I picked it up straight away and it suits my skin colour so much better than any other foundation I have tried (the shade looks a lot lighter in person, compared to the photo above).

You can see from the swatches above how light the shade is against my skin, I never have any hope that I will find a foundation light enough for me, but this foundation has proved me wrong!
The texture of the foundation is just right, its not to runny and blends in well, but not as well as I would like it to, however that's not much of a problem for me.

This is the finished look..
As you can see this foundation leaves a very smooth, clean look to my skin and does not look to orange, YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!

Although I am impressed with this product, there are a few bad points to make, however don't let this put you off this foundation as there all points you can look past:
1. This product doesn't smell great, it smells like a cheap £1 foundation that I use to buy when I was younger and had £1 pocket money, but once the product is on, the smell goes away.
2. The coverage is quite light, unless you build on top of it, which is possible as its such a light shade it doesn't make you look orange or cakey.
That is more or less it for the negatives but overall I love this product and would rate it a 8/10 but 10/10 for the shade.

(I am also wearing an NYC lip liner all over my lips, in the shade Naughty Nude).

I hope you enjoyed this post, please let me know what foundations you are loving, and that are affordable as I always love a good beauty bargain!

Have an amazing week, and speak soon!

W7 12 Piece Makeup Brush Set | Review

Hello, happy Monday to you all!

Today I have a review of a makeup brush set and a blusher from the makeup brand W7, I have used there products before and even done a review not so long ago, so I am back with my second W7 review.

The brush set I got came in a lovely roll up brush pouch/holder, as well as the brush set, I received a blusher which I have been testing out.

I have heard from a lot of people say that these blushers are suppose to be, or are similar to the Benefit blushers/bronzers due to the packaging and maybe even the names of each blusher? I'm not sure as I haven't owned a Benefit blusher to know what they're like.

First of all, lets talk about the blusher. This blusher was very hard to swatch as it is a very light shimmer and doesn't show up very well on my 'not so great' camera. I like this blusher but it doesn't show up very well, unless you add a few layers, therefore I wouldn't recommend using it as a bronzer. Its a nice colour for my pale skin as its not to dark or orange but I had to be careful when wearing it, as I'm so pale that if I had to much shimmer on my cheeks it would really stand out. I love the brush that came inside this blusher, its great for contouring with a powder and comes free with the blusher, so I cant complain. I prefer a matte cheek colour, whether it be a bronzer or blusher, but I think this blusher could look great as a highlighter for the cheekbones, as long as you know when to stop!
Oh and the packaging is super cute!

This is the very pretty brush set I received, I would recommend it to anyone who is just starting to wear or collect makeup products. Brushes can be very expensive these days, and seeing that some brushes can go up to £40 for one, makes me almost have a heart attack, there's just no need! I love finding a good bargain brush, or in this case, bargain brush set!

I have to be completely honest and say that there is one brush which I am disappointed with, but apart from that, all the other brushes work great. The only concern I have with the rest of the brushes are that the bristles sometimes fall off onto my face, so I have to keep checking that I've got them off before going out!

These three brushes are my favourite from the set, there all eye brushes but in small, medium and large. Its so handy to have a variety of sizes to choose from as I use the smallest brush for my crease and the biggest brush to do a base colour, I sometimes use the medium brush to apply my transition colour. I love the black matte handles as they look very classy and neat. The logo is on every brush handle which is handy as I have so many brushes which look so similar to these. The bristles on these brushes do not fall out, as far as I know. I have used these three brushes so much lately and I haven't even had them that long, that's how much I love them!

This is the brush I am least impressed with, I'm not sure if its meant to be an eyeliner brush or just an angled eye brush, by the roughness of the bristles I don't think it would be suitable to apply eye shadow products. Non of the brushes are labelled as to what the brush is for, so I am just guessing that its a gel eyeliner brush. The bristles are so rough and the brush is not thin enough to be able to apply eyeliner accurately.

Altogether I am happy with these products, however, I think there colour be room for improvement, although for a £12.95 brush set, it does the job!

Thank you so much for reading and feel free to click here to have a look at the W7 website.
